The Department of Native Hawaiian Health contributes to the development of the healthcare workforce in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific through our Medical Education Division initiatives.

The ʻImi Hoʻōla Post-Baccalaureate Program and the Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence are programs that provide educational opportunities. These Programs produce health care professionals that serve communities in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific. Together with community and educational partners, we lead cultural competency training, teach community health and clinical electives, and facilitate service-learning experiences for JABSOM medical students and faculty.
