Vanessa S. Wong, M.D., M.S.
Dr. Vanessa Wong is a graduate of the ‘Imi Ho‘ōla Program and the John A. Burns School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Hawai‘i as well as fellowships in faculty development and medical education. Dr. Wong currently serves as the Faculty Development Coordinator for the Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence. Additionally, she teaches in the pre-clerkship components of the M.D. curriculum and is active in cultural competency curriculum development and training. Dr. Wong was born and raised in Guam and her family is originally from the Republic of Palau. She lives in Kāne‘ohe with her husband and 2 children.
