Gina Cummings, M.B.A. is from Waimanalo, HI and has been a part of the JABSOM ‘ohana for more than 9 years. She recently joined the DNHH ‘ohana (Jan 2016) and serves as Administrator. Gina is responsible for assisting the Chair and Director of Business Administration with day-to-day administrative operations which include, human resources, fiscal management, policy adherence and implementation, grant development, faculty and staff development and special projects. To ensure effective operation of the department, she interprets University, RCUH and UH Foundation policies, providing professional analyses to Faculty, Staff and student employees. She is a member of the Department’s Administrative Core Team (ACT) and is committed to doing her part to enhance the department’s overall mission.
Gina completed her undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration at UH West O‘ahu and Masters of Business Administration at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is a mother of 4 children.
